Honda Preparations for the SpringHonda maintenance for the spring defers from the one you perform for the winter. This is why we will discuss some of the things that are with the highest priority.
Check and see if the wheel alignment is as it should be, you can do that yourself, so no need to take your Honda to an auto repair center, unless you don’t feel comfortable enough checking on your own.
Change the winter tires. Unless, of course, your Honda isn’t with winter tires right now. If it is not, that probably means that it’s with all-season tires, in which case check the tire tread and see if you will need new ones. One way to determine that would be with the penny or quarter test, another one would be to take your Honda to an auto repair shop.
If the windshield wiper blades have lost their integrity, it’s high time to change them. The change is not something complicated so you should be able to do it all on your own. The tricky part is the size of the wiper blades, it needs to be the same as the one of your current wiper blades, otherwise, they won’t fit.
It’s also wise to have the brakes inspected, just in case. You can never be too cautious with your Honda. Preferably, have this done at an auto repair shop that specializes in the service and repair of Honda vehicles.
As long as you’re taking your vehicle to a professional, you might as well have the oil and filter changed – it’s never a bad idea. It is a service that doesn’t take that long, isn’t expensive, and through which your engine will perform better.
Take care of the list above when the weather gets warmer and you can see clear signs that the spring is here, or at least almost here.
