reason We use minimal paper in our operations. Most business conducted by phone and email. |

reason Shipping and packaging materials are reused for shipping. Case boxes are all reused for packing product. All raw material arrives in paper or cardboard which is reused when possible or recycled when not. |

reason We designed our products around minimal packaging and waste. Our clear bags allow visibility of the product and are bio-degradable. |
 | Reducing waste
reason It is a company goal to have zero waste. We request nothing be sent to us using styrofoam packing and if it is used, we donate it and do not reorder from that vendor. We do not use styrofoam packing in any of our shipments. |

reason Our products are made using certified organic ingredients. We also support organic and fair trade products through their use throughout our business. |

reason Our products are produced with certified organic ingredients and natural sea salt. We do not use fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or other man-made supplies in any of our business practices. |

reason We attempt to use products that are produced as locally as possible. When using products outside our local market, our company policy is to only use fair-traded organic products. |

reason Because of our totally off-grid office, we use all Energy Star rated equipment and this equipment is completely shut down using power strips when not in use. |

reason Our delivery vehicle (Honda CRV) gets better than 24 MPG and we also limit our delivery trips to make the most efficient use of the fuel. |
