reason We are introducing a new line of ink and toner cartridges that are designed to be 100% environmentally friendly. -UPS labels are provided for the return of the product. -the plastic housings are ground into fuel pellets for cement kilns. -the ash from the pellets are used in concrete. -the cardboard boxes are manufactured from recycled material. -instead of packing foam, biodegradeable plastic bags with with shredded paper from testing processes is used. -remaining cardboard and metal items are recycled. -the plastice handle on the box is reused. It will provide an excellent opportunity for our customers to contribute to the use of a sustainable produced product. Laser Cycle will use this product interally too. |  | Recycling program
reason We have recycled toner cartridges for years to keep them out of the land fill. Our service department utilizes remanufactured parts whenever possible. Not only does it reuse resources, our customers realize a cost savings. |  | Little or no packaging used
reason For our deliveries, we use a toner cartridge strap. It eliminates the need for boxes. Our Bozeman store has been donating excess shipping materials to the UPS store. Billings will initiate the same policy. Any remaining material will be delivered to or picked up by a local recycler (card board, etc.). |  | Conserving energy
reason We have converted our incadescent bulbs to compact flourescent. As our flourescent tubes are replaced, we are using energy efficient tubes. In areas where we have 4 tube fixtures and the extra light is not needed, they are converted to 2 tube. As equipment is replaced, we purchase the energy saving units. Our most recent purchase was a new energy-efficient server for our network. |  | Contributing to local tax base

reason We provide our technicians with factory training, resident and non-resident, for our equipment lines (Sharp / Lexmark / HP / Okidata / etc.).
