Mission: Distinctive Countertops & Cabinetry opened a green shop four years ago and has been making progress in green products and processes ever since. We fabricate and install the only LEED certified countertop on the market and are looking for other green builders, designers and architects around the state to work with. We would love to work on LEED, Energystar and other green projects with builders around the state.
Relation to Your Community: We have been in the Flathead Valley for over 20 years and have worked on a wide variety community related activities. We work hard to be involved in local groups including Student Built Homes as well as Green Build Committee. In our own shop we have company wide recycling for cardboard, aluminum, and paper. Our install and shop crew only work four, ten hour days to reduce on fuel consumption and energy usage
Sustainability Goals Your Company Embraces: Any and all forms of sustainable process are of interest to us. ECO countertops is an exclusive product to Lowe\`s and we are the fabricator and installer for them. It is a countertop made of 75% recycled material and the only eco-friendly countertop on the market. It is also LEED certified which makes it the only countertop on the market with that qualification.
